Array Plastics has decided, within the project of Corporate Social Responsibility, to participate in the ONCOTRAIL.
The Oncotrail is a 100 km team race organized by the Oncolliga Girona Foundation together with the Palafrugell Hiking Association and the Palafrugell Athletic Club, which is held every year on the first weekend of October, and which aims to raise funds to improve the quality of life of cancer patients.
We believe that collaborating in a cause such as helping cancer patients is a way to do our bit for the benefit of all.
The ONCOTRAIL race poses a double challenge: sports and solidarity. The sporting challenge is to run the 100 km of the track, passing along the seaside path Camí de Ronda along the Costa Brava and the mountains of Les Gavarres, within a maximum period of 30 hours. The race can be done running or walking and the only requirement is that there are always four members of the team in motion. Overcoming this sporting challenge is undoubtedly an incentive, but what really moves the participants is the other challenge, the solidarity.
As a solidarity challenge, we found it interesting to include all our suppliers and staff in donations to integrate as much as possible into this project. The response has been well received and we thank all for their cooperation, making a donation for this purpose.
Finally, we encourage our ARRAY TEAM team to overcome the challenge and we thank all our colleagues for the enthusiasm with which the initiative has been received.
THANKS TO ALL!!!
